ACF Property

Huntington Mayor Steve Williams announced Friday, Feb. 7, that the Huntington Municipal Development Authority (HMDA) has purchased the former ACF Industries property in the city’s Highlawn neighborhood.

Public Art Project

The Huntington Mayor’s Council for the Arts is seeking businesses, property owners and individuals to “adopt a box” in an effort to bring a new artistic element to downtown Huntington.

Quick Response Team

Mayor Steve Williams announced Tuesday, Jan. 21, that Huntington’s Quick Response Team (QRT) has been selected as a mentor site as part of a national initiative to spread law enforcement and first responder diversion programs across the country in their efforts to respond to the opioid crisis.

In 2017, Huntington proudly claimed the title of America’s Best Community after being named the Grand Prize winner in the America’s Best Communities competition, a $10 million community revitalization campaign.
