The City of Huntington Foundation is a nonprofit organization that enhances Huntington by improving public buildings and streets, recognizing citizen achievements and developing programs and events that have a positive impact on the city.
The Foundation is active in the arts and partners with the 5th Avenue Theatre by producing award-winning plays and musicals. The Foundation was responsible for major renovations and restorations to the Jean Carlo Auditorium on the second floor of City Hall.
The Foundation also operates the Greater Huntington Wall of Fame. Each year, the Foundation recognizes up to four individuals who have made a significant impact in Huntington and honors them with a dinner, ceremony and a permanent place on the Wall of Fame at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
